fear

i've chosen to end my relationship with fear to maintain that of mine with the Creator. when you find the light, you have to go back to the cave to tell the others. even if your message falls on closed ears, your truth was spoken.

the past year and a half has been such an awakening, not only spiritually, but simply in my understanding of humanity. as i watch the world continue to choose the path of our own destruction, i can't continue to remain silent about all that i can see. so, i'll start with addressing our relationship with fear because it is beating y'all ass right now. being scary gone get you killed. literally. the manifestation of fear is sickness. 

when you invite one demon, you make room for others. fear will bring anxiety, stress, and everything in between. All of this can and will suppress your immune system and lead to physical illness. So in a world where people are already dying everyday, why are you constantly torturing yourself reading and listening to every c*vid headline on whatever other propaganda source you choose to open your souls to? You may not understand spirituality, but your government does. Existing in fear is the quickest way to make yourself vulnerable to danger. It will keep you stagnant. Enclosed and limited. Feeling as though you have to trust anything out of desperation. 

I didn't see how deep of an issue this was until I saw how far people were willing to go based on perceived danger. making permanent, coerced decisions based on temporary fear and inconvenience. Fear is one of the most powerful things on this Earth. A state of psychosis that refuses to end no matter how much we self-sabotage. People are actively giving up their human rights over temporary fear and angry at others for choosing not to. Fear is more blinding than blindness itself. 

It is evident now more than ever who's faith in fear is stronger than their faith in themselves and the "faith" they claim to have in their God. Personally, the only "fear" I have right now is the reaction of society when the rest finally see what's happening. I'll leave it at this. 

Be weary of the world and remember your morality. 

There won't always be a pandemic, but because of current decision-making, there may always be tyranny.

the sound of the rain

I was twenty two years old when I learned that I was addicted to pain. Grief, sadness. All of the above. I was hoarding sadness to the point that I became it. Of course I had happy days, I’ve lived a life some people could only dream of. But, my mind somehow always drifted back to the darkness.
